Create More, Save More.

These are my two main resolutions this year, obviously there are several parts to each component - but you get the general idea.

Basically, last semester I spent a bunch of money on random stuff, I probably didn’t need - you know..as most of us do… so this semester I really have to stick to certain criteria when I buy things..this basically means stuff that falls under the categories of…necessary toiletries, gas, car insurance and dead rats for Loki. Not super exciting, but I definitely have some debt to pay off and I need to put away whatever I can(Not that pennies contribute to much) I am planning on getting a tattoo this month, but I saved up all my tips over the summer and I have the money for that stashed away. (Don’t Judge!) haha. Otherwise I am completely out of money until June. (yeah this means absolutely no ebay…yikes)
I certainly don’t need to worry about arts supplies for several months because I have a ton of stuff stashed away in my room. So I promised myself not to buy anything crafty until I have completely exhausted by supply (you all saw the yarn in my last post..) And I’m definitely hoping to make and sell a few things on etsy.
Sooo many ideas!
A new game plan for getting stuff completed:
I like to write goals on this little mini white board that is hanging on my wall. This semester isn’t as heavy as the last, and I should have enough breaks during the week to get most if not all of my homework done. So I’ve devised a plan to get myself to complete personal projects each week. Right now my white board reads ‘The Week of Jan 9th-15th” (since right now I’m studying for a first aid course and putting a school application together) And three goals to complete: a blog post, a youtube video, and a drawing/craft to complete. This kinda seems like quite a bit..but if I get behind I’ll just keep powering through each item until its done. Getting each thing done before starting the next thing is more important than getting all things done each week, but I’ll try my best! And of course I plan on posting what I get done.
Anyways - this was probably the most boring post to other people.
Happy New Year! I wish you the best on completing your own resolutions.
