As it’s been 2 days since I made this blog I assume I already have hundreds of passionate readers just sitting in front of their computers eagerly waiting for me to post some amazing news! Right?
hahaha - Yeah right.
I think this is going to be a long one, I’m just going to post a bunch of stuff and see how it goess..I haven’t really decided if I should make this organized or just post whatever however I feel like. (aka just random posting like i’m going to do now..or I could have a specific page for different topics.) If you feel bored just scroll through until you find something more interesting. I’m also going to tag each post so if you look at the little search box to the left you can type in whatever you want to find.
Anyways - On to more exciting stuff.
At the moment I am taking some of the most ridiculous classes possible, first of all they don’t make any sense together. Philosophy of sex and love, Principles of Organic Chemistry 2, Studies in Shakespeare and Technical Writing and Critical Thinking for the Sciences. Philosophy and Shakespeare are fairly straight forward, but the other two…they are exactly in every way as awful as they sound. I feel like I have to do at leasttwo hours of organic chemistry a day just to keep up, and that doesn’t even include the lab component of the course which also has it’s own formal lab write ups and post lab questions as well as preparation for the next week’s lab. It is endlesss. However, I think by far the worst class in existence is the scientific writing class (and obviously it’s required for me to graduate) The name in itself is enough to make me want to cringe…if that wasn’t bad enough the class is taught by an old cat lady who specializes in medieval and rhetoric writings. Please explain how this makes her in any way qualified to teach the class? She was going through examples during the first week of school and she did NOT know what deoxyribonucleic acid was. Jesus. How can you teach anything that science students have to take when you have no idea what DNA is?! How is that possible? So every week I have to endure this woman for three hours where she drones on and on about some slides that teach us about how to work with other people and proper sentence structure. I wouldn’t go except for the fact that she has conveniently made attendance worth 10%. Ack. Last week she went on about the pricing of document sharing and hosting websites. I am a stuuuuuuuuudent, why would I pay for anything that I can get for free? I just sign up for a wiki and be done with it!
Seriously, school makes me cranky..and I love to rant about it. hahaha. Ranting is my jam.
That’s really all this post was about.. I was going to post some stuff about crochet..but I think i’ll make a separate post for that.
