Springtime.
Yess, hot(ter) weather is here and school is over! Unfortunately my vacation days are running out quickly and I probably work tomorrow but it has been awesome.
Obviously I’ve been up to some fun stuff that I’m going to tell you about.
First of all:
NEW CAR! (yay, amazing on gas and amazing sound system)
OLD CAR!(all automatic incl sunroof but too expensive on gas and repair, ick) - SO BUY IT (but not..don’t..seriously…must sell to someone unsuspecting…)
So at the moment I have two cars and it’s kinda scary..but I’m selling the red one. Did I mention I’m super broke? hahaha. luckily for me, the school is paying for me to take two summer courses through a grant. That is incredible because I wouldn’t be able to graduate next year otherwise..and then I’d really be in the financial hole then.
So I’m attempting to do some stuff for funsies as well as possible money making opportunities, cause while I’m doing random shit, I might as well make money right? yeah? yes…
I just finished another drawing this week (maybe this will bring me some money someday…haha..) Unfortunately I can’t do digital art because my computer is old and cranky, so in a few months or so I’ll be buying a new one..and until then old school pencils. hahaha. Although honestly, it’s probably good for me. Relying on digital too much is badd - there’s too many shortcuts..haha.

It is based on a drawing in a book but I changed some things like the head, tail and there’s small differences here and there. I need tons of practice but I am pretty happy with it. I hope to do some more of my own creation, I don’t know why but I always end up drawing dragons..I’m not a crazy fantasy buff or anything but I find them extremely fascinating. Cat-like reptiles with bat wings. obvs. haha.
Not to mention I watched How to train your dragon last weekend, it’s amazing. Go see it. Maybe I’ll draw some of the dragons from there, haha.
I also finished crocheting a puff-stitch crochet hat. It’s sooo comfy, the yarn I used was a wool blend and it feels really nice and warm. 
And I guess now that i’ve posted that..i think I’m just going to put up all the types of hats i’ve made so people can see them (cue handy dandy head model)
This one is a puff-stitch too but it’s less noticable with the yarn I used. It’s more of a shorter beret style though rather than the longer slouchy hat. 
Have you ever wanted to look like a hippy elf? Now you can with this hat..haha. it’s just a longer slouchy hat. I really like it actually.
This is just a classic slouch. Can you tell I like slouchy hats? hahaha. They’re just more interesting than plain old touques. I am part of the hipster clothing movement, what can I say? (yikes..)
I’ve also been dabbling in diy clothing.. here I took one of kyle’s shirts that was way too large, cut it to fit me and made it into an off the shoulder fitting shirt. ooo. It saves money on t-shirts which can be nice when money is tight. Just go on a vv trip and cut.

I think there are some other t-shirts I’ve cut into various styles..but I don’t have any pictures of them at the moment and maybe I’ll save that for some other blog since this seems to be the DIY blog of my life.
Another project I am going to be working on is making myself a black and blue dread fall, I just ordered the synthetic hair so when it arrives I will be sure to post the process. I do have some other stuff to talk about too, but I think this post is long enough so some other time.
I’ll be doing more sewing and stuff like that so be prepared, I want to make sweaters and dresses and it’s going to be great.
Now, I am going to catch up on YouTube subscriptions (hahah - I am a loser. It’s mostly about makeup and diy stuff.) So everybody get all your spring cleaning done and kick back to some good tunes. :D
