Some updates.
Life has been strange this week.
A girl that I was close to during high school died last weekend and I attended her memorial this Saturday. It’s strange to think that it doesn’t seem like that long ago but honestly I think five years have passed since I talked to her in person..and since then we have only talked a few times online. People grow up and change, that’s just a fact but I still felt a little bad about it nonetheless. But I hope that she never doubted my friendship (if she thought of me at all) in the last few years, I think she was one of those people who I would be able to pick back up with after years of not really talking.
Anyways, her death was sudden and unfortunate..and I’m sure I will think of it often since I’ve never been close to anyone who has died before. I only look back on our time together fondly and I hope that she was happy during the last five years, and is happy now if it is possible.

Oh-and that brings me to another point. I feel a little sad that I don’t talk to most of my friends as often as I should. Although I try to keep a few close to me, it’s obviously difficult to keep in close contact with everyone. So friends if you read this..know that I love you all the time and you mean the world to me..even if we haven’t spoken or seen each other in a while.
Now for stuff that’s a bit lighter..(obviously crafty..)
I own more craft supplies than anybody should ever own.. I need my own craft room, seriously.
Here’s a picture of stuff that I recently required:
This is a random assortment of feathers, hair pins and barettes, ribbons, fabric and fake flowers. Fortunately this stuff wasn’t too costly since I bought most of it at a dollar store. (Did I mention I’m a 50 year old woman?) Well I plan on making a bunch of stuff with it and I have a ton of ideas (the list keeps growing..) This also doesn’t show the amount of fabric and yarn I already own.. all this stuff gets stored in drawers and baskets in the corner of my room.
Even if it doesn’t amount to anything, I guess I had fun right? haha. That’s what counts? maybe? hopefully.
I’m also thinking about possibly making some skull embellishments from polymer clay, cause that’d be cute! (and I want skull embellishments on my bows <3)
WHO WANTS BOWS? YOU DOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
HAIR FLOWERS? YESSSSSs.
I would also love to make jewlery but it seems so hard :( So by making jewlery i mean..buy pieces of jewelery at michaels and put it together. tada!

ALSO - MY SYNTHETIC HAIR CAME. STOKED.
I’m going to make a single dread fall with black to blue transitionals. I’m really excited, then even if I don’t like them on me I can always sell them online or something. The blue looks pretty bright here because of the flash..it’s not quite that bright..
Maybe I can go out and be a cyber raver? yeah!? YEAH! (No..definitely not..) that is not my jam.
So lately I’ve been really excited about recycle crafts and DIY yourself stuff. They go well together for me since I am usually pretty poor so going down to value village and refurbishing clothes is an awesome idea. Plus you gotta give those homeless clothes a home! They’re perfectly fine, jeez. (Except scary old woman clothes and urine stained pants..those are..not fine.)
