Heyyy Yuh.

Hell..Yuh??

So this week I am totally swamped (although I think this is normal) and I’m trying to get my new computer figured out along with catching up on homework and trying hard to not be distracted by everything else I want to do.
But I did buy a new computer! Yay!!111! My old computer has become practically useless because it takes about 10 minutes to do anything at all..so I was getting a little sick of that.
So obviously I was overjoyed when this came in the mail:

Hallelujah!

The only problem is now my old computer looks tiny and shitty in comparison..haha. Plus - the new computer has blue ray capabilities and is HIDef so now my computer looks super pale and not as colorful. I may have paid an arm and a leg for this computer but it was well worth it. It’s super fast and looks awesome..plus it’s red? Obviously that is a selling factor for me.

I have been working on a few projects between school and working..I want to get more done but gah why is there never enough time in the day? I’d be much better off if I never had to sleep..I’d probably be a thousandaire by now. cha-ching $$

HAIR BOW!

I made this cute hair bow from pink zebra print ribbon. It’s awesome..you probably want one.

K I’ve always wanted one of these? So obviously I went online and found one that was on sale. I also got some red wax to go with it, I love writing letters and so I think the traditional wax seal is super awesome. Maybe I just like the 1800s? whooo knows.

Finally, I’ve been plugging away at my dread falls. I’ve been busy and they’re also very time consuming so they’re still not finished :3

I actually have 52 of them now, these are the long ones but now I have shorter ones too. I was thinking to do about 60 of them..but I still have quite a bit of hair left over so I may just do all of it. I’ll take a picture when I’m done! I think I would also like some hot pink ones too, haha. I’d also be happy to make some for somebody else, so if you know anybody who wants some - send them my way!

I tried quite a few sealing methods like an iron, a kettle, hair straightener and a steamer.

My favourite method is actually the iron and it’s the fastest. The kettle didn’t work at all and wasn’t practical since I had to sit on the floor to do it, the hair straightener worked well but it was a bit slower and I didn’t want to wear out my hair straightener (they’re really expensive!) The handheld steamer would have been ideal but the one that I bought (which is the only one you can buy in town) wasn’t that powerful, it didn’t hold that much water and it would sometimes spit boiling water making me and the dreads all wet. There’s another method where you hand the dreads above a sink or tub and pour boiling water over them, I haven’t tried this..since you have to clip the ends of all the dreads plus apparently it’s super messy. I don’t really feel like getting boiling water poured on me anytime soon..interestingly enough I only really saw the iron mentioned by one person..and I think it’s great. haha. Plus we already have a iron at my house - so no extra money was required! yay.

Well, that’s all I really have for now. I’m going to make some more interesting blogs soon..promise. :D
